This service can be accessed via the "Archive Extract" section on www.zenith-watches.com.
The quality of the answers provided depends on the information supplied by the client. The system conducts an active search on the client's behalf. This is in line with current legal requirements with regard to supplying an online service and with consumer protection norms.

2 – Applications for "Archive Extracts"
2.1 Definition of the "Archive Extract" service
An archive extract contains information from ZENITH's archives that is related to your watch and its date of production in Le Locle. An archive extract is not a certificate of authenticity and guarantees neither the authenticity of a watch nor its parts.
The search is conducted on the basis of the information provided by the applicant who certifies on his or her honor that he or she is the owner of the piece in question or that he or she is in possession of the express authorization of the owner to request such information.
Information is shared on the basis of the correctness of the references and/or elements communicated by Zenith by the applicant. Information is delivered by email following reception of payment and after expiry of the cooling-off period.
When possible, ZENITH will also provide you with excerpts from magazines or catalogs dating from the same era as your timepiece. These images remain the property of ZENITH and may not be reproduced or disseminated in any way without prior written authorization.
ZENITH does not provide valuations for any watchmaking item and suggests that people seeking the estimated value of a piece contact a specialist auction company.
2.2 Procedure for using the "Archive Extract" service
The appropriate form must be completed in order for your request to be attended to.
In order for us to process your application, precise information on your piece as well as photographs must be supplied. The quality of service rendered is dependent on the information provided by ZENITH.
Prior to approval of any request, you will have the opportunity of verifying both the details and price, as well as correcting any possible mistakes, before giving final confirmation.
For every application you make to the "Archive Extract" service, a confirmation email will be sent to you with the number of your application.
All the steps required for making an application are detailed on ZENITH's website.
Applications are treated with the greatest care by ZENITH's Heritage department. However, no reimbursement may be claimed should the historical search be unsuccessful. The fee paid corresponds to the search conducted by the Heritage Department.
ZENITH reserves the right to restrict the number of Archive Extracts supplied, and/or to refuse any unusual order or that is made with ill intent. Additionally, ZENITH reserves the right to refuse any order made by a client with whom there is existing litigation with regard to payment of a previous order.
