There was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at the Zenith boutique in Geneva on Wednesday January 23rd for the cocktail reception held to unveil the latest creation proposed by the Manufacture, the Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane watch. The particularity of this exclusive timepiece is that it beats at the exceptional frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour while at the same time combining the ‘Gravity Control’ function with its fusée-chain transmission system. This striking combination of daring complications gives the model a supreme degree of precision.
In a decor inspired by the era of the Conquistadors and the great Voyages of Discovery, and to the accompaniment of the gentle chords of the mandolin, a variety of delicacies from the four corners of the globe were served to the guests attending the event. Some 150 journalists, retailers and friends of the brand were thus offered the opportunity to savor a truly “timeless” occasion.
