The DEFY Extreme E Limited Edition 1/100th of a second chronograph commemorates the 2023 Extreme E electric rally racing championship. Crafted entirely in robust yet lightweight carbon fibre, adorned with “Vital Green” accents on the open dial and Velcro strap made of recycled tires. Powered by the El Primero 21 1/100th of a second automatic high-frequency chronograph calibre. Two straps are offered to fully experience the interchangeability of the watch.

The chronograph of the 21st century. The El Primero 21 is the culmination of over 50 years of perfecting the automatic high-frequency chronograph. Equipped with two regulating organs and escapements - one beating at 5Hz for timekeeping, and the other at an incredible 50Hz to offer a true 1/100th of a second chronograph function.

For the third Season of Extreme E, ZENITH has created the lightest iteration of its groundbreaking 1/100th of a second chronograph to date: The DEFY Extreme E edition. Combining performance-centric materials and the rally’s official “Vital Green” colour, the DEFY Extreme E edition is built around the values of sustainability shared by Extreme E and ZENITH. A limited edition of 100 pieces, it incorporates recycled and upcycled elements from the Championship in the strap as well as the waterproof and crushproof packaging.
