ZENITH and USM unveil the DEFY Chronograph USM, a bold reimagination of the 1969 ZENITH DEFY, in stainless-steel with a USM green dial. This is the first time the DEFY is produced as a chronograph, powered by the legendary El Primero 400 calibre. The daring spirit drives both brands to evolve and redefine the future.
A BOLD REINTERPRETATION OF THE PAST
ZENITH and USM celebrate the 1960s, and their successes of that era, with the DEFY Chronograph USM. This stainless-steel reinterpretation of the 1969 ZENITH DEFY features a USM Gentian Blue dial and playful details like a chronograph second hand tipped with a miniature USM Haller ball joint, patented in 1965.
TECHNICAL INNOVATION MEETS BOLD DESIGN
The DEFY Chronograph USM – a Swiss icons collaboration, ZENITH and USM – combines innovative precision watchmaking with bold modular design. Powered by the El Primero 400 calibre, this stainless-steel watch features a USM Golden Yellow dial that adds a touch of warmth and a positive touch to any look.
CELEBRATE SWISS DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING
The DEFY Chronograph USM pays tribute to devotion to timeless quality, refined aesthetics, and purposeful functionality, shared values of both brands, ZENITH and USM. This stainless-steel, 1960s-inspired watch features a dial in USM Pure Orange, with three overlapping silver chronograph counters, for an energetic addition to any look.
BRINGING TOGETHER A COLOURFUL COLLECTION
The exclusive capsule collection launched by ZENITH and USM Modular Furniture is accompanied by a custom-designed USM Haller chest created specifically for this collaboration. Each vibrant dial colour is produced in a limited edition of 60 pieces. Collect all four versions of the DEFY Chronograph USM and store them in an equally colourful box, paying homage to the modular aesthetic of the USM Haller system and USM signature colours.
